Advanced Parts and Sales System
The Advanced Parts and Sales system adds expanded functionality to Alert EasyPro’s built-in merchandise features and is a must have for rental businesses that sell large quantities of parts or products, sell serialized items, or need more flexible pricing structures.
The sophisticated pricing options of Advanced Parts and Sales include the ability to give customer discounts on single items or entire categories of sales items and categorize customers into three pricing tiers: regular, preferred, or dealer. An additional pricing feature facilitates quantity break pricing for each customer type pricing tier.
Serialized sales items (items with a unique serial number, such as a lawnmower, vs. items sold in bulk, such as nails) can be tracked and sold using the serialized sales feature. Purchase date and cost information is captured for each serialized sales item as it is entered into the sales inventory. When the item is sold, the sold date, transaction number, and purchase order number (if any) are entered into the system and kept in the sales history file.
Management of sales inventory is maintained in a simple and straightforward way using the physical inventory feature of the Advanced Parts and Sales system.
The Advanced Parts and Sales system also provides a feature for recalculating sales cost using the FIFO inventory method.
